Our online sessions focus on enhancing your vocal precision, character development, confidence, and creative writing—equipping you with the skills to captivate any audience, all from the comfort of your space.

Meet Your Instructors

Adriane O’Pharrow

Adriane is a Washington, DC native who has been performing on stage since the age of four. She is a trained singer, dancer, and actress. An alumna of Winston-Salem State University, Adriane majored in Mass Communications with a minor in Dramatic Arts. She has been a featured performer and director in the DC Black Theatre & Arts Festival for over five years and has acted in numerous productions, including For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow was Enuf, Macbeth, The Color Purple, The Colored Museum, Yellowman, and more.

As an instructor for ANOP’s Performance Lab, Adriane is dedicated to uplifting the performers she coaches by helping them develop self-confidence and resilience. She believes that preparation for the stage extends far beyond performance—it equips individuals with the skills to navigate life’s challenges. With mental health being a crucial factor in the entertainment industry, Adriane is committed to ensuring that those with a passion for performing have the strength, awareness, and ability to hold their own both on and off the stage.

Askia Drew

Askia is a multifaceted artist and experienced coach who serves as the Lead Producer for ANOP and a key instructor in its Performance Lab. Drawing from his extensive background in filmmaking, writing, and performance, Askia empowers performers and public speakers to reach their full potential. In the Performance Lab, Askia provides one-on-one and group coaching, specializing in performance technique, character (brand) development, and stage presence. His diverse experience equips him to guide individuals in mastering the nuances of performance for film, public speaking, stage, and television. As a filmmaker, Askia understands the power of visual storytelling and character portrayal on screen. His writing background provides him with a deep understanding of narrative structure and character development. Through his artistic pursuits, he has honed his own stage presence and performance skills.

Askia’s passion for nurturing talent, combined with his practical experience in various performance mediums, makes him uniquely qualified to provide effective and insightful coaching. He is dedicated to helping individuals develop their authentic voice, refine their performance skills, and command any stage with confidence.
